Rochester Writers Association

We are now accepting submissions for the Rochester Writers Associations first quarterly short story and novel excerpt competition. There isn't a theme or topic for this competition, there is a 1000 word limit. Entry fee for non-members is $20.00, basic membership cost is $15.00 and premium membership costs is $10.00. If you pay a lesser fee than what you are entitled your submission will be automatically disqualified. 

 Deadlines for submissions is March 31st. Winners will be announced April 30th. First place wins $60.00, a brief author bio and the winning story posted on the site, second place $40.00, and third place $20.00.
