About Me
I moved to Rochester in June with my partner, Anne. We're loving Upstate New York. I'm working part-time for a temp agency while focusing on a writing career. I completed a novel a few years ago and am finally getting around to trying to publish it. I'm also dabbling in a few other projects and trying to jump start the 'next book'. It's exciting but very daunting making a go of this as a 'real job.' I'm glad to have a community of writers to trouble shoot the writing life with. Congrats Sam! I hope you two had a blast. In the end of things that's all that matters anyway. Will you still be able to join us an hour before the meeting on the 29th at the Borders in Henrietta? I am trying to confirm with the other Sam as well. If so, please bring your ideas and any concerns you may have. We'll be talking future plans for the group and where we'd like to see us grow. Thanks again! We'll need to pick a day after December to go by the bank to set things up. I can set us up with an ESL account, I like them the most, to be honest.
Hey Sam, since you'll be running finances for the group, how does City Editor and Account Manager sound for a title for the sidebar? The picture you used on Linkedin would be awesome to add to the page under Meet the Editors. Tell me what you think, and if it's still something you'd like to do in March. I would like for the bank account to be in both of our names that way if something were to change we could make the necessary changes as they appeared. We'll start a Paper and Ink Innovations Pay Pal account for the ease of our members and we'll talk more. When we hold our organizers meeting, I'd like for you to be there. I'll let you know when. If the timing isn't right for you, please let me know! Hope to see you Thursday (29th)!
Welcome to the group Samantha! I am very glad that you made it to the last meeting and I hope to see you at the next one! I'll be setting the date soon...
