We each have our own opinions as to what makes a writer a writer. For me, I think a writer is anyone who has a spark, an idea that ignites to a roaring fire and they can't wait to make it their preferred writing preference. And when they're writing, and they're in the groove, they can't help but glow. It's like a painter in the midst of their masterpiece, except our paintbrush is the written word. What's your thoughts on what makes a writer a writer?

Personally, I feel as if everyone has an inner writer in them. To me, writing is a lot like speaking your mind, but with the written word as opposed to the spoken word. I loved to make speeches in public speaking classes, and I think that is actually what made me a better writer when I finally saw that connection.
